Cheers to 49!

I love it when two vastly different items appear in unrelated parallels.

I will celebrate my 49th birthday on November 2nd. And, as it turns out, this post marks my 49th release.

I truly wish that I could claim responsibility for this coincidence, but it is complete happenstance.

That got me thinking — What is the numerological meaning of the Number 49? And, what can I expect from this near half century mark and beyond?

According to AffinityNumerology.com, the numerological energy that the Number 49 represents is “about focus, conscientiousness, humanitarianism, and being realistic.”

As I dug deeper, I learned that “49 works hard. It is happiest when it’s accomplishing a goal. The number 49 may be blunt when asked for opinions regarding the execution of current projects or the feasibility of new projects. The energy represented by the number 49 has a solid sense of right and wrong. 49 is honest and reliable. The number is loyal and dedicated to the job at hand; it is pragmatic and focused on specific goals, accomplishing them one at a time.”

That’s 49 as an inanimate object, but it also sums me up as well.

I still have an above average work ethic. I attribute that dedication to driving me to where I am today. However, now I function more efficient and effectively; I counterbalance my labors with dedicated creative time.

Additionally, I have become self-aware enough to identify the areas that I am strongest and those from which I garner my greatest energy/passion, leading me to focus Authentizity in that strategic direction.

I have gotten more candid with my opinions through the years. In fact, I’ve said for many years that I didn’t “own my own voice” until I after I turned 30 years old. Now I leverage my experience, knowledge and strengths to consult and offer my advice in servitude to others. I also utilize this blog as an outlet to share my thoughts and skills.

If there is something that you’d like for me to discuss in a more in-depth manner in the future, please write me at dlandry@authentizity.com. I’m always on the lookout for new and innovative topics of inspiration!
