Does your calendar ever make you feel like you’re playing a game of Tetris?

In the past week, the summer has winded down and schedules heated up again, with calendars increasingly beginning to fill.  Invariably, the bumper to bumper meetings leads to ebbs and flows of schedules like tectonic plate shifts.

I’ve typically been good at flexing to clients’ needs.  However, it occurred to me recently that my ability to manage it all is similar to a game of real-life Tetris with some pieces not quite being able to fit.  Thus, it’s always a good reminder to view time as a finite resource and prioritize accordingly.

Finally, as the last of 2019 nears and demands heighten, remember to carve out time to reflect and celebrate even the smallest of advancements and successes achieved.
