Divinely Destined Business Development
Merging personal beliefs with professional outreach is frequently and sometimes overwhelmingly frowned upon in a B2B business environment.
Observations Revealed
Withholding and suppressing something that comprises a large part of our characters actually does the opposite of achieving deep, long-lasting relationships. Our lights shine through when we are our authentic, genuine selves in private and in public.
When we open ourselves and surrender to receiving guidance from our higher power (respecting whomever or whatever that may be for each of us), then it allows our true gifts, strengths, and talents from our company’s services and employees to stand out from our competition.
This allows us to achieve the ultimate target marketing in which we align our outreach to those accounts with shared integrity, ethics, and a value-based system to ours. Concurrently, it enables us to no go those prospects which are not in step with those shared beliefs.
Then, we experience disappointments differently. Rather than becoming scared or defensive, we see our losses as a hedge of protection against something or someone that may have been ill-suited for us and/or our businesses in the long term.
By surrendering to serve, we also stretch and press ourselves to become Big Dreamers and creatively attempt something in a new and/or different way.
For example, I lived out the “You have not, because you ask not” philosophy last year when I dreamt big in my asks for testimonials for my book, ARMORED. One of my requests was to Jim Clifton, CEO & Chairman of Gallup, Inc.
I put myself out there and was forthcoming about my faith in my email correspondence to Jim, a complete stranger. Unbeknownst to me, he shares a similar belief, and my message caught his attention.
He not only responded expeditiously but did so generously with his willingness to assist me. Subsequently, it has culminated to ARMORED’s achievement of Licensed Partner with Gallup, as well as my interview on Gallup’s Called to Coach Podcast.
I attribute those successful results to me being my true, authentic self, doing my best at what I could control, and then to releasing the results. My belief is that what is meant to be, will come to fruition.
Prosperity may look different today than it has previously. This past year may have caused us to transform our service offerings to adjust to rapidly changing markets and/or new connections.
However, we can trust and be steadfast in our knowledge that restoration, replenishment, and success are on the way. Divinely Destined Business Development means releasing your faith and being in peace, knowing that our businesses are exactly where they are supposed to be.
